WORKSHOP PERFORMANCE
TRANSPERFORMANCE COLETIVA - Directed by Princesa Ricardo Marinelli
The Transperformance Coletiva is a creative project that explores trans performances through a collaborative and experimental process. The workshop offers a space where participants can create or develop trans characters and embodiments through activities involving self-makeup, image composition, dance, performance, and conceptual and political discussions related to transformism and queer performance. The concept of “trans” in the workshop is broad, encompassing not only trans identities but anything that is transitional and constantly in flux. The work presents the transgressive powers of trans performances in the world. TransSexualizadas, TransAnimalizadas, TransGenerificadas, TransCoisificadas. Trans as that which has no fixed place, which is permanently between places, which is transitory.
