O QUE MANCHA

NATIONAL PERFORMANCE

O QUE MANCHA Beatriz Sano e Eduardo Fukushima (São Paulo/SP)

In this first show directed and danced by Beatriz Sano and Eduardo Fukushima, the two blur the boundaries on and off the stage. In the transition between the roles of choreographers, directors and dancers, the duo builds the work based on the intertwined vibration between voice and movement. The act of producing sound and gesture at the same time causes notions of duality, such as human and animal, woman and man, and living and dead matter to be destabilized. Mixed with each other, the two blur the bodily boundaries and investigate other possible forms of communication, opening space for two existences to broaden the imaginary of their relationships.
