Preta Rainha is an autobiographical solo presented by Wilemara Barros, one of the most important Brazilian dancers of her generation. The piece revolves around her 50-year trajectory in the world of dance. The artist revisits her emotional memories, taking on the cultural and ancestral legacy of her family: dance, singing, percussion and belief take over the scene. Directed by Fauller, choreographer and founder of the Cia. Dita, the solo also continues the artist’s dialogues and thoughts about the black body and its possibilities in dance. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Cia. Dita is a collective of artists with different backgrounds in theater and dance, active since 2003, the year it was founded.
